Bauer banks seventh-place finish in season opener at Merritt

Cody Bauer made his first start of the 2023 season in the Late Model ranks on Saturday night at Merritt Speedway (Merritt, Mich.) aboard his Pro Grade Concrete No. 19X Late Model.

Following the third-fastest qualifying lap in his group, Bauer edged his way into the A-Main with a fifth-place finish in his heat. Starting in 10th, Cody gained three spots in the 30-lap affair to register a seventh-place finish.
