Bauer's night cut short by broken water pump at Merritt
The 2024 season rolled on for Farwell, Michigan's Cody Bauer on Saturday with a trip to Merritt (MI) Speedway for the UMP Late Model portion of the Midwest Compact Tour.
After the night started off strong with a runner-up heat showing, Bauer discovered a broken water pump that prevented him from making it out for the feature. His team made a valiant effort to get the pump replaced before the start of the 40-lapper but ran short on time.
